Treudelberg offers a golfers paradise with the only 27-hole golfing complex in urban Hamburg.
This course is not only for members of the Golf Club Treudelberg e.V. available as well dayguests and hotelguests can experience athletic performances.
The existing 18-hole championship course with an overall length of 6019 m (from the championship tees) and a standard scratch score of 72 was designed by Donald Steel, the British golf course architect. Built in the hedgerow landscape typical of North Germany 180 acres, the course is a demanding one for beginners and experienced golfers alike, featuring strategically positioned bunkers, water hazards and landscaping features.
The course was impressively extended in 2008/2009 by David Krause, the well-known German-Canadian golf course architect. An par 36 nine-hole course of unrivalled beauty and sympathetic to its natural surroundings was created on a further 70 acres.
Now you expect one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in the north of Gemany with more than 107 acres. Embedded in the typical north Germany countryside with rolling hills, biotopes, challenging bunkers and a water hazard the course awaits golfing-mad players of all levels.
